Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2, 2026 · Template — have counsel review before launch

We handle two kinds of information. Businesses tell us about their company when they request a call. Consumers who ask about solar, a remodel or a regenerative-medicine consultation submit an inquiry, and we sell that inquiry to the business named in the consent disclosure on the form. This policy explains both in plain English.

1. Who we are

Buy Solar Leads (“we”, “us”) runs buysolarleads.co. We sell leads to solar installers, bathroom and kitchen remodelers and regenerative-medicine clinics, and in some programs we book appointments, meetings or consultations on the buyer’s calendar.

This policy covers the website, the call-request form on our /book-a-call page, and the consumer inquiries we collect and sell. It doesn’t cover how a business that buys a lead uses it. That business’s own privacy policy does.

For any question about this policy or your information, email hello@buysolarleads.co.

2. Information from businesses

When you request a call on /book-a-call, we collect what you type into the form and some technical details sent with it. The full list is below.

If you then pick a time, our scheduling tool receives your name, email, company, program, states and budget range to create the booking. We use this information to prepare for and hold the call, follow up by phone, text or email as you agreed on the form, quote a program, and run your account if you become a customer.

We don’t sell the information businesses enter in the call-request form.

  • Name, company, email and phone number
  • The program you’re interested in, the states you serve, your monthly budget range and your team size
  • Anything you write in the notes field
  • Your IP address and browser user agent
  • The page you landed on, the page that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (UTM parameters and ad click IDs such as gclid, fbclid and msclkid)
  • The date and time of your request, and your agreement to be contacted about it

3. Information from consumer inquiries

Consumers reach us through lead forms we run and through forms run by marketing partners. When you submit one, we collect what you enter and a record of how you agreed to be contacted. If you used a partner’s form, the partner collected the information and passed it to us, and the partner’s privacy policy also applies.

To check what a form says, we also get information from other sources: public property records, phone-validation services and the National Do Not Call Registry.

  • Contact details: name, phone number, email, and street address or ZIP code
  • Solar and remodel inquiries: answers such as homeownership, property type, utility and bill range, roof and shade, credit band (self-reported), financing preference, project type, budget and timeline
  • Regenerative-medicine inquiries: the area of concern you pick from a fixed list (for example, knee or back), your age range, whether you plan to self-pay, whether you’d like to discuss a payment plan, when you want a consultation, your ZIP code or distance to the clinic, and how and when you prefer to be contacted
  • Consent record: the date and time, IP address, browser and device details, the page address, and the exact disclosure text shown next to the submit button
  • Check results: phone validation, a property-records check of your homeownership answer (solar and remodel inquiries), a duplicate check, and a National Do Not Call Registry scrub

4. How we use information

We use the information described above for these purposes:

  • Deliver a consumer inquiry to the business named in the consent disclosure, so it can contact that consumer about the request
  • Schedule and confirm booked appointments, meetings and consultations for the business that bought them
  • Check that a lead is accurate, isn’t a duplicate, and isn’t on the National Do Not Call Registry
  • Keep proof of consent and answer consent questions from buyers, consumers, regulators and courts
  • Process opt-out requests and keep honoring them
  • Talk with businesses about our programs, quote pricing and manage accounts
  • Advertise our own programs and measure which pages and ads lead to booked calls or inquiries, using the tools described under “Cookies and analytics”
  • Run, secure and improve the site, and block fraud and bot submissions
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms

5. Who we sell or share it with

Lead buyers. We sell each consumer inquiry to the business (or businesses) named in the consent disclosure on the form the consumer submitted. An exclusive lead goes to one company. That business then uses the information under its own privacy policy.

Service providers. Companies that host the site, route form submissions, run scheduling, validate phone numbers, check property records, scrub Do Not Call lists, store consent records and send email. They may use the data only to provide those services to us.

Analytics and advertising providers. If we use analytics or advertising tags on this site or on lead forms we run, those providers may receive browsing details such as IP address, device data and pages viewed. We don’t send answers to regenerative-medicine questions, including the area of concern, to advertising platforms.

Legal requests and business transfers. We disclose information when the law requires it, to answer lawful requests, to defend claims, or to protect people’s rights and safety. If the business is sold or reorganized, information may move to the new owner under this policy.

6. Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies and similar tools to work properly and to measure which pages lead to a booked call. For example, we record clicks on booking buttons and completed call requests.

The scheduling tool on /book-a-call loads from its provider and may set its own cookies when you pick a time. If we use analytics or advertising tags here or on lead forms we run, those providers may receive your IP address, device details and the pages you view.

Some state laws treat giving that data to ad platforms for targeting as a “sale” or “sharing”. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser.

7. Your privacy rights and opt-outs

California’s CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, and similar laws in other states give residents rights over their personal information. Selling consumer inquiries to lead buyers is a “sale” under those laws. The categories we sell are contact details, inquiry details (including self-reported credit band for solar inquiries and the area of concern for regenerative-medicine inquiries), and consent records with IP address and device data.

To use any right listed below, email hello@buysolarleads.co with the subject “Privacy request” and the name, phone and email you used. To stop the sale of your information, use the subject “Do not sell or share my information”. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request to know, correct or delete. An authorized agent can make a request with your signed permission.

Opting out stops future sales. A business that already received your inquiry keeps its own copy, so we’ll tell you which business it was, and you can ask it directly to stop contacting you or delete your data. To stop calls or texts, you can also follow the steps on our TCPA & Consent Practices page.

  • Know what personal information we hold about you, where we got it and who we disclosed it to
  • Get a copy of it
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete it, except where the law lets us keep it, such as consent and opt-out records
  • Opt out of its sale and its sharing for targeted advertising
  • Limit our use of sensitive information, where state law gives that right
  • Appeal our decision on your request, where state law gives that right
  • Use these rights without being treated differently

8. Consumer health data

When someone asks about a regenerative or stem cell consultation and selects an area of concern, some state laws treat that answer as consumer health data. We collect only what a clinic needs to follow up on the inquiry, and we deliver it only to the clinic named in the consent disclosure.

Washington’s My Health My Data Act requires a signed, standalone authorization before consumer health data can be sold. We don’t accept regenerative-medicine inquiries from Washington residents or from anyone submitting a form from Washington. If one reaches us by mistake, we delete it and don’t sell it.

Nevada and Connecticut have similar consumer health data laws. We don’t accept regenerative-medicine inquiries from Nevada or Connecticut residents until our forms collect the consent those laws require. We aren’t a healthcare provider, an inquiry isn’t a medical record, and nothing on this site is medical advice.

9. Retention and security

Consent records (timestamp, IP address, page and disclosure text) are kept for at least four years after the lead is delivered, and longer if a claim, investigation or legal hold requires it. Federal TCPA claims generally can be brought up to four years after a call or text, and these records let us answer questions from consumers, buyers, regulators and courts.

Opt-out and do-not-contact requests are kept as long as needed to keep honoring them. Other consumer and business information is kept as long as the purposes in this policy require, then deleted or de-identified.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. The site runs over HTTPS, and access to lead and consent data is limited to people and service providers who need it. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we’ll notify you as the law requires.

10. Children

This site and our consumer inquiry forms are for adults. They aren’t directed to anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn we have, we delete it.

If you think a minor submitted information to us, email hello@buysolarleads.co.

11. Changes and contact

We’ll post any change on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we’ll say so here before it takes effect and ask for consent where the law requires it.
